Mighty the Dog needs a home
Mighty is a very very special boy. He was brought into rescue when he'd been hit by a car and taken to the local open admission shelter. His pelvis and hips were broken and the orthopedic surgeon said there was not a surgical way to repair. It was a waiting game to see if he would be able to stand up and walk again. After 4 days, little Mighty did just that. The little guy also has a giant heart. Not just figuratively, unfortunately. His heart is enlarged but that doesn't seem to bother him much. Mighty also is missing one eye. The vet doesn't know whether it was a birth defect or if it was an injury. Even though he has all these special needs issues, you would never know it from is amazing attitude. He loves other dogs and cats and he's always ready to make friends with a new person. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. He is ready to make a new family really happy! His new family needs to know the reality that his heart will most likely not allow him to live as long a life as he deserves. He is on medicine to help his heart function better.
